Lululemon’s juicy results

Lululemon jumped by the most in four years after the trendy workout wear brand breezed past Wall Street’s fourth-quarter sales and profit targets and issued strong guidance for 2023.

Vancouver, Canada-based Lululemon earned $4.40 per share in the period, topping analyst forecasts of $4.26. Sales rose 30% to $2.8 billion, beating forecasts of $2.7 billion. Lululemon, which makes athletic wear for men and women in addition to casual clothes and yoga equipment, issued a forecast for the current year that came in ahead of analyst targets.

Lululemon expects full-year earnings between $11.50 and $11.72 per share, with revenue ranging from $9.3 billion to $9.4 billion. Sales projections for the current quarter also came in ahead of Wall Street forecasts.
