Natural gas update

The U.S. Energy Administration releases its weekly update on natural gas consumption and supplies.

Natural gas consumption in both January and February reached its lowest levels since 2018, according to the previous update. Winter in much of the U.S. has been unseasonably warm, resulting in lower use of natural gas and other fuels used for heating. Natural gas prices are down nearly 50% in the U.S. so far this year.
