Exxon Mobil earnings

Energy giant Exxon Mobil Corp. will report its latest financial results today.

Wall Street expects the company to notch another big profit increase during the fourth quarter. The latest results cap a strong 2022 for energy companies after oil prices surged early in the year amid the war in Ukraine, strong demand and stagnant supplies. It was the only sector within the S&P 500 to close the year with gains.
