Another volatile day on Wall Street ended with fresh losses for stocks Thursday, drawing the S&P 500 closer to its second bear market since February, 2020. The benchmark index for many mutual funds continued falling a day after its biggest drop in nearly two years. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq also closed down. Target fell again, a day after it lost a quarter of its value on a big drop in earnings.
