Anniversary - Nelson

Larry and Shirley (Winston) Nelson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2021. Their first date was Sept. 22, 1968, and they say they knew almost immediately that they were meant for each other. After marrying in June 1971, Larry joined the military in July and they left for California in September. They raised four children during his military career and have since added 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They moved back to Chattanooga in December 2017.
