Text Request and FreightWaves among fastest growing firms

Two Chattanooga businesses are among the fastest growing technology companies in America, according to the 2023 Technology Fast 500 list compiled by the accounting firm Deloitte.

Text Request, the Chattanooga-based text messaging software business started in 2014 by Brian Elrod, placed No. 319 on the Technology Fast 500 ranking with a 406% growth rate over the past three years. FreightWaves, the information and media company Craig Fuller started in 2016 to track in the logistics industry, ranked No. 494 on Deloitte’s list with 231% growth from 2019 to 2022.

In its 29th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 ranks technology companies based on submitted applications and public company database research, with winners selected based on their fiscal-year revenue growth percentage over a three-year period.
